My friends bday was 3 days ago and i sent her a msg on myspace cuz i didnt know how often she checked her email cuz i told her we will talk thru myspace, but i sent her a birthday ecard, %26amp; i know she viewed it. anyways, i havent heard from her yet and i think that since i called her "special" in the message and said "happy birthday! i hope you have an awesome day and party in style. have a drink for me since i cant be there with you" (shes out of country) i think she MAY have taken it the wrong way

i like this girl still but she has made it clear to me that she only wants to be friends...i think my actions for wishing her a bday may have actually backfired and gone the negative way and now she is ignoring me...should i msg her on myspace and just be like hey how did your birthday weekend go?

and should i also ask her if she got my card? and if so, should i tell her i hope u didnt take anything i said the wrong way?

come to think of it...i rather have her as a friend than nothing...

I would leave her one more message, and if she doesn't get back to you, lay off. You don't want to be the subject of her jokes with her friends either as the guy who just won't get the hint.

Her birthday was only 3 days ago, she's probably still celebrating. Chill out for a few more days. If she only wants to be friends you shouldn't be so clingy or she won't even want to be your friend. When you do finally talk I don't think 20 questions are necessary, just ask if she had fun. The rest is really none of your business, unless she wants to share it.
