why not do something else instead of a movie? i find a movie more like a guy's easy way to steal a kiss without having to talk to the girl. if you enjoy the outdoors, why not take her on a picnic, miniature golfing, the beach, etc. if you really are intrerested in getting to know this girl, a date that will allow you both to talk and figure out your chemistry. i remember when i first met my boyfriend, i knew he was someone i wanted to be with because there was so much chemistry and great conversation with eye contact and smiles given and received...oh and the kiss, start with the simple kiss on the check follow with a sweet smile while looking at her, then if she leans over to kiss you again then, you got that kiss =) good luck

im a sophmore and you sound really sweet but honestly i have to say that i dont think i would go for a freshman. but i suppose i might change my mind if it was a guy that i really liked. that is just my opinion maybe she is totally cool with it. never know unless you try. but i do advise you to act confident, even if you dont feel it just act like you do because their is nothing worse than a guy who is too shy to just stand up and say what he wants and not care what other people think. trust me you will not win her over by asking your friends to find out if she has a bf over myspace, that is the exact type of freshman thing that turns girls off from younger guys. if you are serious about her than say hi one day maybe ask her a question about a class or activity that you are both in and see what her reaction is. if its good then do the same thing the next day and the next then one day just ask if she has a boyfriend. if she doesnt then ask her out. if she gets to know how cool and mature you are before you ask her then she is more likely to say yes. be yourself (your very confident self) make sure you act gentlemanly (so many high school boys are really lacking that) like hold a door open (not just for her but other people too bc she might be watching) or if she is caring something heavy, offer to help. be funny and if you can make her laugh that is great but dont be annoyingly funny. keep it tasteful.

So theres this guy that I go to school with. He rides my bus and lives down the street from me. This is my first year going to school with him. I think he's really cute and I like him!

I鈥檝e liked this girl for some time now, and it was recently her birthday and I went beyond what normal people would do (like write on her myspace blog) and I sent her an ecard. She wished me happy bday 3 times (text/wall/free gift) so I thought this would be okay. I haven鈥檛 told her directly I like her but she did tell me few months ago that she just wanted to hang out as friends, but even then I sometimes got the feeling she may be interested, even a tad鈥r it was friendly. a relashionship just recentley finished with a girl i developed strong feelings for. i got to now her for two years on the internet, and we got quite serious about each other. but she lost her feelings for me, and told me she wasnt able to come to the uk now, but still wanted to be friends on msn messenger.

at one point she told me, she was moving to england, to be with me. and that she loved me very much. she was 20, im 29.

i let her no in an email that i had borderline personality disorder and i awaited therapy, weeks after thats when her feelings started to dwindle for me.

i strongly have paranoid feelings about this. i think an outside force, somebody, prevented me and her from developing our relashionship, i keep thinking she was talked out of it....plus i found out on myspace she had feelings for a guy her own age, and she admited to sleeping with to. i loved her, even though she was in canada, she was someone i wanted.

I don't think there is any consiparacy at work here, I'm pretty sure you are sabotaging yourself. You are way too intense and scaring this girl away. I agree with Moonshine that you're probably sabotauging yourself. Also, you were reckless in letting such serious feelings develop for someone you really didn't know and it doesn't help any that you believed her bullsh*t about mvoing to England and how she loved you very much.
