this is the story. me and my best friend liked the same girl towards the end of the school year. so this summer we decided to hang out with her a lot to see if she liked one of us. so we hung out with her and me n my friend always had a blast with her. i would always keep her laughing and was always the crazy one while my friend was the chill, laid back dude making her laugh here and there. about a week ago i send her this message on myspace that told her how i really felt about her. n she replied n said that was very sweet and i hope we can continue to be friends. then a week later my friend starting hangin out with her one on one and then asked her how she felt on myspace. and she said she liked him too but wanted to take it one day at a time. i was pissed. but now i am sorda over her. but i want to know if i should try being her best friend too see if i could have a chance with her later on.

jake, Personally, I would just try to remain friends with this girl. You and she sounded as though you got along very well, and had a lot of great fun together. I would not TRY to make her my best friend, that would be acting phony. If you are looking for payback towards your guy friend, I would say let it go. Why start problems that could easily be avoided. Just be her friend if you can be a genuine one. Who knows what is down the road? This girl sounds like a decent girl, so I would treat her respectfully.

i think that if you care about her then just be her friend with no expectations. accept the fact that she didnt have feelings for you and just be her friend. tell your self that you to are never going to be togeather. dont be nice to her just so you can get with her, thats what makes all guys *** holes lol. so either be her friend and forget about anything more or forget about it all period. maybe some day in the future shell change her mind but dont plan on it or expect it if it happens then it will be a nice suprise key word being if. just let that go and be her friend or leave her alone.
