I'm really pissed off, Todays the final day of school, I'm a junior going on senior. and im being bullied by sophmores, that makes the whole school clowning me, i got into a fight with some girl, who was pissing me off. She was video taping me fighting, and then she threatened to put it on her myspace.
Should i sue her? Or should i break her camera? How much money should i sue her for, for putting me in false light?

Well, suing is a bit extreme, but (I think?) there is a statement on MySpace's video upload section that clearly says that one must have the consent of the people in the video before posting it online. If she does post the video after you've clearly told her not to, you might want to contact a MySpace moderator or something (Tom?) and request the video get taken down. Notify a teacher or parent if things get worse.

legally speaking, anyone can opperate a camera (still pictures or video) in any public place, and they own the pictures or videos and have a right to publish them however they want. Unless the girl was video taping you on private property you have no legal say in what happens with the video even though you are in it.
I suggest you look for methods of revenge other than legal, because that will take you nowhere. And relax, this too shall pass.

Sorry to say but you won't win if you try to sue. The Judge or Jury will just say that you should act in a manner that pure and just cause you got caught by a camera, you just put yourself in that postion. Now if the video was editting in anyway that makes you out other then what was record in a bad manner, you might have a chance. I suggest you patch things out and swallow your pride.

If you object to it on youtube, report he violation.
DO NOT damage camera, or threwated, that IS a criminal offence, and well get you into more trouble.

Report the video to Myspace asking them that it be taken down. You can say the video is not hers and she stole it or since it is you, tell them exactly what you told us, she has no consent from the "star" of the video to post it publicly. Keep emailing them just so they will get tired of hearing from you and fix the problem.

If they put it up, report the video for abuse. Tell a teacher or parent. Suing is a bit to the extreme, and its not worth it.
Breaking their camera is destruction of private property, so that wouldn't help you if you decided to tell anybody.
Try not to let it bother you much, they're being immature and stupid. Their entire purpose is to piss you off and by taking such action as to sue them or break their camera you're only stooping to their lowly level. You're almost done with highschool so it'll be over in a short matter of time.

go on the persons profile, go down to report all the way on the bottom. state hte reason, cyber bullying etc, and trust me the profile with the video will get deleted

You should check the myspace video section and see what it says and if it does say that that person has to give their consent then you should take it up with them. but if it doesn't say that then you should take her to small claims court and you might be able to get $500-$700 out of them if you have a get case.

Report video to my space and ask them to remove it, do not damage the camera because you could be in serious trouble
