there's a lot more to the story than just that. a grown woman who was the mother of one of this girl's friend created a fake myspace account and pretened to be a boy who liked her. this mother was completely aware that the girl had serious issues with depression and she still screwed with her. so no it is not dumb. that poor girl was traumatized and for someone who is clinically depressed, it doesn't take much to push them over the edge. that sick ***** that made that account she get charged but they can't charge her with anything.

I agree but some people are just sensitve and want love or whatever she thought she had so bad and when they see its fake its too much for them.

If this is the story I'm thinking of, the girl was a depressed 13 year old and it was an adult screwing with her. I don't think it's "dumb" at all, the girl had problems and having an adult mess with her like that is just plain rotten.

i think it is .if it was me in her position i would just tell someone or report the page of the person and always ignore that person
