theres this guy at school and he always taps me on the shoulder or pulls my bookbag playfully and then he smiles when i turn around and he says hi to me. we were talking on myspace trying to get to know each other better and i was telling him about my problems and he told me hed always be there for me. he also told me he knows im a really nice girl. and then he asks if i want to hang out with him? does he mean that as a date? if it does then i seriously need advice. i am so nervous right now and i was thinking about jsut ditching him. but hes a really nice guy and i dont want him to get mad.. but hes 2 years older than me.. im 14 and ive never hung out with JUST ONE guy before. help me? how do i try to not make a fool of myself? is 14 too young?

Come one, 14 is'nt too young to g out on a date! Just make sure it's a a well populated one. He's into you! Be cool, don't make it seem that you are falling for him or anything!!! If you really like him, take your time, he will apprecate you more. Most guys think about gettig into your pants, don't let them. Be classy, if he says, lets go over to the dark corner, telll him you prefer the light where you can see him better. There is no probs of dating older men, just maintain your dignity and show then who you ARE!

Well.....two years is a major age difference. But if you guys share the same interest and enjoy each others company than there is nothing wrong with hanging out.

If he said that it was only going to be you guys than that is a definite date. To avoid awkwardness try suggesting a double date.! So if it totally bombs you still have another person to talk to.

Definite signs he likes you, or he is interested. He is obviously making an effort to get to know you. Don't be shy but you are younger so there are some limits. Just go for it %26amp;%26amp; have fun.!

it's normal to feel nervous. from what you say, it seems this guy is really into u. if being alone with him makes u uncomfortable then make sure u two arent alone . give this a try you have nothing to loose, besides i dont think there's an age limit for love
