Here's my guy friend's story. He knew this girl from school, he approached her, asked her to be his girlfriend, she rejected him ( her reasons were: "I just got out of a relationship" and "my ex told my friend that he still has feeling for me"). Two months later, she started to date someone else on myspace. How would you feel if you were in my guy friend's situation, and what would you do?

It's a little odd, but maybe at the time that he asked her she wasn't ready. Since it had been 2 months, she could have gotten over whatever relationship she had before.

Just two month after? That's a lot if you ask me... it's not like she's a widow or something. Your friend should look for someone else.

She was likely just to be freaking with his emotions, so he should just move on to someone who would return his affections.

sad and jealous should be the common answer ..... and such a gal won't suit him...as what everyone would say there are bertter gals out there...so forget about that gal and head for a better future.

but as i observe it guys girls meet on the net are more articulate and lots of mushy words, so maybe the girl fell for that reason so tell ur friend to practice and move on.

I would guess that the girl isnt interested or attracted to your buddy and was just trying to be nice, spare his feelings and gave him the bogus excuse. Its not right for her to do that, tell a white lie, but it is better than your buddy hearing he is weird or ugly or whatever she thinks of him really. Also, many others noted that two MONTHS have gone by and that is a long time. Maybe since that time she has gotten over her ex or her ex started dating someone else. Or maybe the guy on MYSPACE is the reason her and her ex broke up! I think it is a little weird that he asked her to be his girlfriend, not asked her to hang out or go out first. That may have scared her. There are a lot of reasons she may have told him this and no one but the girl really knows. I know it probably hurt your friends feelings, but that is the risk you take in putting himself out there. I would tell your friend to find someone else to be interested in and to start slow. If he pushes this girl who rejected him for an answer, he will probably find the truth is worse or more hurtful to hear than what she told him and he is probably just setting himself up for her rejection again.
